Hi I am trying to install FireFox onto my Macbook Air 10.14.6, and despite following the downloading steps on the website I can't seem to access it. I keep getting this image pop up, but when I tried to drag FireFox into my Applications folder, nothing changed. How do I install this?

I mistakenly loaded a browser called Freshy Search. I was trying to access a CarMax type program, and Freshy downloaded. I now get the Freshy search window every time I open a new tab on Firefox. I want to delete Freshy from my computer. Thanks

Firefox will not open after multiple reinstalls and deleting all data.

I had firefox on my computer a long time ago but uninstalled it. I reinstalled it and it will not open. I did a refresh and it would not work. I went through and deleted the following folders to no avail upon fresh install from https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/

Deleted folders: AppData/Local/Mozilla AppData/LocalLow/Mozilla AppData/Roaming/Mozilla Program Files/Mozilla Firefox ProgramData/Mozilla

Upon fresh installs trying to boot into safe mode results in a window briefly flashing in the taskbar and closing immediately. There's no message or anything asking if I want to boot it into safe mode. I don't care about keeping previous data for Firefox like profiles or bookmarks. I do not know what else to do.

I am a sysadmin working on an enterprise deployment of a Firefox extension, specifically this one: https://addons.mozilla.org/hr/firefox/addon/bitwarden-password-manager/

It's a password manager called BitWarden.

I am deploying the extension using the official Firefox ADMX templates, so far I configured most settings correctly. When I am deploying the extension to my users (I am using Microsoft Intune), I need to provide an URL from where the extension will be downloaded. I found that URL by copying the link from the 'Add to Firefox' button from the https://addons.mozilla.org/hr/firefox/addon/bitwarden-password-manager/ link.

I found the link to be: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/downloads/file/3843699

What I want to know is the following: 1. Will this link stay the same for all future BitWarden extension versions? 2. Is this something that changes when a new Bitwarden extension gets released or is this link static? 3. Is there perhaps a link which automatically redirects the download to the latest available version?

Some online guides say that a 'latest.xpi' string needs to be appended to the add-on's page (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/bitwarden-password-manager/ in this case), but I found that not to work. If I go to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/bitwarden-password-manager/latest.xpi, it throws an "page not found" error.

Never saw this kind of text from mozilla before. Does this mean that unlike previous versions, 78.15 will no longer give you the option to decline automatic updates?

FF isn't creating an background update task in my environment. That's a pity!

When I try to run the command:

"C:\Program Files\Mozilla FireFox\firefox.exe" --MOZ_LOG sync,prependheader,timestamp,append,maxsize:1,Dump:5 --MOZ_LOG_FILE C:\temp\backgroundupdate.moz_log --backgroundtask backgroundupdate

in an CMD it's also not working.

Has anyone an idea of ​​the reasons why?

I purchase audiobooks on Audible.com using my Mac (OS Catalina). When I download a purchase Firefox sends it as an MP4 file which is incompatible with the apps to play the audiobook. Safari and other browsers do no do this - the files come as an .aax file. Even after I have an .aax file I cannot play it using Firefox because Audible.com does not recognize my registered computer. I get an error message: Document "LicenseForCustomerToken" couldn't be opened. Incompatable with QuickTime Player. FYI: QuickTime Player is a video (MP4) player app on my computer. So, once again, Firefox makes the .aax file appear like an MP4 file to Audible. It's doing some kind of unrequested and unwanted conversion of .aax files to MP4.

I hope you can fix this in your next update. i've worked with Audible to solve this issue, but they cannot help and are telling me it is a "known issue" with Firefox and recommend I use a different browser.
