The autofill function works great for forms and applications but not so much when I'm entering online contests. When they ask me for my TikTok, Instagram, or Twitter username, it will not autofill those. I always have to do it myself in FireFox. But Microsoft Edge doesn't have that problem. Why doesn't it remember what I type in for those types of entries?

Since 128.0 was installed outlook.office.com/mail has stopped working. (Windows 11)

My mail account has numerous shared groups. However these now fail to load with a messgae "Cannot load folders for "xxxxxxxxx" Decoding failed.

Additionally, while I can see new mails in the list (under focused and Other), the previews are all blank.

I do not get this error in Edge or Chrome in Windows.

I have about 30 user/password accounts logged when I use my Firefox account on Windows PCs but here on my new Apple Mac tablet, I do NOT see/get any of those accounts. Is there something I need to do to enable this to work?

Hello, PG&E just updated their webpage and it doesn't allow me to sign in. It informs me that Fire Fox isn't a compatible browser, all other websites are fine. It suggests Chrome as the preferred browser. We pay our utilities through their site and we enjoy Fire Fox.Can anyone help resolve this issue? Thanks

I got increasingly frustrated that google.com search page gets increasingly unresponsive under Firefox, and performing searches from the address bar does not do a thing. Does not respond. The page remains blank. Sometimes it remembers to respond, but most often, it does not. I wanted to search something in the search bar. No response after hitting Enter, even though, I can open any bookmarks or webpages other than google.com. If I type google.com in the address bar and hit enter, it reverts to the previous page. Such as, imagine that I was at www.mozilla.org, and in the address bar, I type google.com. I hit enter, and it just ignores it, and reverts to mozilla.org. But if I type microsoft.com, it goes to open microsoft.com in an instance. My Firefox constantly update itself and before, I always deleted the cache file, now I don't even let caching pages, still, it is like this. I am not sure what is going on. I am having troubles accessing the browser. I get to do endless security check every time I open Firefox for anything. I have to undergo several puzzles "I am not a robot" before any page opens and this happens every time I go on the web. even if I did this a Mn ago am being asked again and not only one puzzle to resolve but sometimes up to 10 in a row. This is so time consuming that I am now considering leaving Firefox to work on other browsers although I always had Firefox as my default browser. Thank you

I just noticed after an update today that the Mobile menu entry (with bookmarks from my mobile Firefox instances) no longer appears in the browser's Bookmarks menu. I can access them from the bookmark manager, but this change seems extraordinarily stupid and arbitrary and is a definite step backwards.

There are 32 shortcuts on my home screen - 4 rows of 8 each. However, I accidentally "dismissed" one shortcut - now there are 31 total. I cannot figure out how to restore a shortcut. Is the solution in about:config (browser.newtabpage.pinned)?

The "search in page" feature has somehow become hidden behind the taskbar at the bottom of my screen. I can only see it by using F11 to hide the taskbar. Any ideas on making it visible again?

I recently purchased a Sandisk Ultra Flair flash drive because I wanted to password protect some files. The flash drive requires me to download the Private Access software from the Western Digital web site. When I try to do this the Mozilla browser states "Malicious Download Detected" and cancels the download. Does anyone have any suggestions? I went to the Privacy and Security part of Settings, and unchecked the Deceptive Content setting, but Firefox still would not let me download the software. Perhaps the change to the setting I tried did not register in Settings, but here I am asking for your help. Thanks.

I was trying to fix a printing problem I was having and stupidly re-set Firefox. I lost all of my bookmarks, settings, etc. I un-installed it because the look was so different I thought maybe I could get back what I had lost if I re-installed. Well, that didn't work. Now I have nothing - no bookmarks (which are extremly important), no nothing. Please help!

I was registering for a web page & up popped an old deleted email with password. The email was deleted in 2016. I would like that email & any sites I used it for to be deleted from my computer. Microsoft deleted the Hotmail in 2016 so of no use.

I use a theme which some years ago (after a change in the way Firefox handles dark-mode preferences) changed all UI and websites to use dark-mode. I was able to keep using the theme, and mostly override this behavior by setting:

`layout.css.prefers-color-scheme.content-override = 1`

However, this didn't take for some components, such as the sidebar and bookmark editor window, which still continue to use dark-mode.

Is there any way to completely disable dark-mode everywhere, and still use my preferred theme?

Is there a problem with downloading from streaming services? I noticed that Chrome had a similar problem to mine. Since about last Saturday, I cannot download MSNBC and other programing on YouTube TV -new shows (Live or Recorded) from YouTube TV. Sometimes there is an error - "there was an error licensing this video". Sometimes it is just a revolving circle that never completes. The programs appear fine on my son's cable. The "about" says that Firefox is up to date and Windows 10 did a cumulative update on 8/13 but streaming worked fine at least through 8/22.
