I'm uninstalled, Firefox and reinstalled it and cleared the cache. And it's still either not linking to certain sites at all or not, opening them correctly or completely. I don't wanna spend any more time than necessary on this. If you can help me, that would be great.And if not, I'll just go back to chrome

I suppose this is a kind of support question, of sorts, but in my opinion this also has to be treated as a complaint, in a sense.

About one and a half months ago, Firefox became unresponsive, that is, it became awfully slow. I experienced just about every issue with the browser that was mentioned in the following support pages and support issues (posted by others) and I read all of those :

An oddball situation had occurred in which I couldn't for the likes of me go to my librarything.com homepage at each restart of the previous Firefox session, which also causes lagging when the session wants to connect to the other (normally unproblematic) website session tabs, and I also get multiple connection errors + insecure connection notifications for some of these websites. (sometimes refreshing a page does not help, sometimes it does)

I got bored reading all those support pages and trying out the solutions, because nothing seemed to help. In the long run, I decided to de-install the whole browser after backing up bookmarks, speeddial settings, passwords and the whole profile. Simultaneously, I also tested the connectivity to these websites in another browser (Brave) and this did not present me with any problem.

So I did the following :

1) deleted the whole cache and closed the browser 2) uninstalled FF with Revo Uninstaller (which has an option to remove all remnant files / folders/ registry items on the Hard Drive) 3) made sure to remove all cached leftovers from HD by using multiple cleanup tools in succession : 1) Wise Disk Cleaner followed by 2) Bleachbit followed by 3) CCleaner

Went to the mozilla website, downloaded and installed the last version of FF. Next, imported bookmarks, speeddial settings and passwords. Next, reinstalled the Firefox extensions I used before (without any lag until one and a half months ago). I also did NOT copy the stored profile but decided on starting afresh with a new profile.

Everything worked lightning fast and efficiently until a few days ago, when I received an automatic update of Firefox - 151.0.3 - and all of a sudden, the same problems are reoccurring. And again, I can't connect to an unproblematic website like librarything.com, whereas before the update I was able to without any problem !!!

What the hell is going on with these auto-updates ???

My firefox took longer than normal to load this morning. It will go to some homepages but then won't go to any sub pages. It appears to not want to go to the home pages of shopping websites. It says it last updated firefox 5 days ago so the long wait this morning wasn't an update. If I use Microsoft Edge I a able to browse freely.

I am using macbook pro latest one, and when I use firefox and scroll down from my wireless Mouse to the bottom of the page, the scroll bar jumps to the top while working, is there a fix for this.

I have been using this wonderful browser since 2012, and it has been my default browser ever since. Recently, I've been facing an issue where I can't upload images, audio files, videos, or any other attachments on WhatsApp Web through this browser. To verify the problem, I tested WhatsApp on a different browser, and everything worked perfectly there.

I would appreciate your advice on how to resolve this issue. Please guide me on what steps I can take to fix the browser and restore normal functionality.

I just bought my boyfriend a new iMac. We are having trouble loading many sites and platforms using the latest Firefox browser. The list is growing but includes Facebook, Meetup, Wikipedia, chess.com, nytimes.com - in all cases, rather than a login screen, we get an error message or a home page loads with no access to other pages or login area. I've cleared the cache, restarted, tried going directly to the site to log in, but nothing works. Everything is fine when using Chrome, but we prefer Firefox. Is this a conflict in the new Apple OS? Is there a fix?

before v151.0.2, didn't have a problem with firefox, now with this new release, it is really really slow, takes some time to start and load pages. what happened??

One Home/House. Two PCs. a. WINDOWS 1O b. LINUX 22.3 Both share One Mouse One Keyboard One Monitor. I have a FIREFOX account and have joined both PCs to MOZILLA. I have activated, deactivate and successfully used FIREFOX SYNC. I keep getting emails from MOZILLA stating that someone else signed on to my email acct. and a MOZILLA supplied a 6 digit code to confirm. I know it was me, so I confirm using 6 digit code and no problems. My question is. Who, How or can I inform so MOZILLA/FIREFOX recognizes both PCs. Also. Have been thinking about purchase of a YUBIKEY/KEYs for security. I know, for loss prevention, it is best to purchase 2 Keys. But can a single YUBIKEY be shared on both PCs. Or, do I need to purchase separate keys for each PC? So 4 Keys... 2 Keys for the WINDOWS 1O and 2 keys for the LINUX PC?

So for three days now, my firefox constantly crashes. I would be reading a story online or watching a video on Youtube and then it will suddenly freeze. In videos, it'll still play the sound but the screen will freeze. I can't pause or stop it. Then either Firefox crashes and closes or I have to close it for it to stop. Sometimes, when I try opening it again, it still won't open. I used to have 50 tabs open and never ad this issue. After this, I closed all the open tabs, even deactivated a bunch of extensions, run malware detection, and still the issue continues. I don't know what the problem is. I even followed instructions and deactivated hardware acceleration options in Performance. And I have all AI options turned off too. The app also recently was updated.

I can't find any way to make the settings so that the label prints correctly across the entire sheet. I tried all the settings, nothing helped. Everything prints fine in Google Chrome.

After most recent Windows 11 and Firefox updates, Firefox will not open on my PC. I thought I had managed to Refresh it today Troubleshooting Mode - got a "Success" message - but that message was overlaid with a box that wanted me to agree to terms and conditions, etc. and when I clicked the Continue button, nothing happened. So I had to close what little of Firefox was on my screen; got the Not Responding message, then the Close or Wait message (waiting is useless), so I hit Close and the error was again reported to Windows (big whoop). Should I uninstall Firefox and start over???? I have no clue how to save all my bookmarks and associated passwords.

google blocking Firefox download. What do I do? When I open the downloaded browser app icon from Google store the browser changes to Google and Firefox is not in the drop down list either.

This was working just fine up until 2 days ago. As the title says, when I close firefox, it is now no longer restoring my tabs from my previous session. Closing via the x does not give me the option to restore my previous session.

I have:

Tried unchecking the box, closing firefox, opening it again and rechecking the box. No success.

Uninstalled firefox, restarted my computer, and reinstalled firefox. Still no success.

I am open to further suggestions.

Not sure if this is a Linux or Firefox issue, but here goes. In the past when uploading pictures for instance in Gmail I got a menu showing places EG pictures, video's etc. Example - home - pictures- cats - black cats - list of jpg's, click attach. When attaching another pic from the same folder etc it used to default to the same folder location with the list of jpg's.

With the last few FF updates that isn't the case any more, when next attaching a pic file I now have to start again from scratch EG home, pics, cats, black cats instead of click attach straight to list of jpg's in back cats.

Is there anyway I can configure FF back to the old setting please?

I am having trouble with the leftmost column on several sites. In yahoo email, I want to see my sidebar(?) that shows my folders etc. Even though the double-arrow symbol appears, it will not let me make that column narrower. It takes up much more room than necessary and prevents me from seeing things at the right edge. Now a parallel problem is occuring on the Zillow website. They have a column on the far left that is suddenly 4 times as wide as before, and it won't let me adjust it. I can't see the important info in the other columns. In both cases when I try to zoom out, instead of any change in the columns' respective widths, it just makes the print smaller. What can I do?
