Due to muscle menu or not needing to think about it. Split should either be near the bottom of the context menu or you should be able to toggle it in settings. The amount of times I have gone to click a link to open in a new window only to split the view is driving me crazy.

System Windows 11 - Firefox 151.0.3 All normal actions from mouse right click have disappeared eg open link in new tab or private window, copy, paste etc etc. The Settings General - Tabs has not changed and previously worked rt click ok. Any help to restore the rt click function will be appreciated.

Hi. Now that the 'Open Link in Split View' has annoyingly replaced the spot previously held by 'Open Link in New Window' i keep clicking on it accidentally (muscle memory).

I don't want to have to retrain my muscle memory, but despite creating css file generated by Claude that should in theory remove the option, and putting it the Profile Folder, it will not go away.

How do i remove it?

When I swipe to the left, Firefox navigates Back & when I swipe to the right, Firefox navigates Forwards. It is VERY ANNOYING!!!! It's really easy to do this accidentally while scrolling around a large web page. When you go back, it deletes all data that was filled out on the web form causing DOUBLE the work. The keyboard shortcut to take screenshots [Ctrl + Shift + S] used to work a few weeks ago but it has stopped working for quite a while now. Doesn't work on any site, I can only create screenshots by right clicking and pressing the button manually.

These are technically two separate issues, but both pertain to functionality of the mouse and keyboard. Whenever I right click to bring up the menu, the options (despite being functional) do not appear in the menu proper. Instead there are just empty buttons. In addition, certain hotkeys aren't working at all. Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V to copy paste are doing fine, but Ctrl-T and Ctrl-W to open and close tabs respectively do nothing. Neither of these issues were happening yesterday.

Please return my Computer to using Firefox default as my browser as it was 2/01 /2026.Ive tried several times to do this w/o success . I was using windows 11 and have been trying to get rid of MS365 which I never used but have been charged for a solution , but have been blocked and refused cancellation after they asked me to change my email address and PW . Insanely confusing !

Dear Folks at Firefox, Mozilla

In last few days I really have a big problem with trying to browse with my favorite browser Firefox. It is that cursor always goes to address bar instead of search bar when I am trying to surf the web. I tried all the fixes that I found online with changing things in about:config still with no solution.

I am running on Windos 11 and using latest Firefox version.

I started using Claude in the side panel instead of a dedicated tab, but there is something noise about it: every time I click to open the side panel the chat starts from scratch. Getting a clean slate is nice, but it takes too much time loading. So I would like to not unload the content of the panel when I close it, just hide it, so when I click to open is already loaded. There is a way to do that?

Mozilla currently allows a user to select an AI Chatbot to use in the updated sidebar. The choices are limited to Anthropic Claude, ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Le Chat Mistral and Microsoft Copilot. When will Mozilla add Grok to this list of choices?

(srry if wrong topic) basicly when i use the customize firefox tab it tells me about the overflow menu but when i try to add BUILT-IN tools like zoom control it just, not, and also the overflow icon apears gray'ed out,

if someone can help me with this then pls reply to this, ill come back to this post like a week later

When trying to set Firefox to open a file on Windows 11, it is overwritten by Firefox Nightly. I have both branches installed.

This is how it goes when attempting to set Firefox as a default application in my machine:

1. "Apps > Default Apps"
2. .mp4 (for example)
3. click the button below that displays the current default application
4. Firefox Nightly appears in this menu
5. "Choose an app on your PC"
6. "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox" ... "firefox.exe" ... "Open"
7. Firefox Nightly remains in this menu

I cannot get Firefox to appear as an available app in this menu. The only workaround, although inconvenient, is to drag and drop files straight into Firefox.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Is there a button I push or a feature I enable to make sure that I'm opted-out of any future updates that include AI 'features'? Or should I switch to Vivaldi now and save time?

For a while now firefox has been unable to enter fullscreen when pressing F11. Instead all it does is move the "Scroll forwards", "Open a new tab", and "List all tabs" button over slightly (The buttons on the top right, next to the minimize and close buttons).

I don't know what's going on with firefox.

Something called "safe space" just showed up in my firefox browser... I didn't want it, didn't ask for it!! PLEASE tell me HOW to get rid of it.... PLEASE!!!
