My Firefox is in English, but the new update page is never displayed in English,

Problem number 1: It should be based on the installed language.

Problem number 2: It says PT-PT but it's 100% PT-BR, What is "celular" and "privativo"?, sintax does not conform to european portuguese either.

Warum in Englisch??? Ich lebe in Deutschland, habe mich in Deutschland in "Deutscher Sprache" angemeldet und erwarte dass Firefox dass nicht nur zur Kenntnis nimmt, sondern auch anwendet! Ich will nicht bei jedem Umblättern oder anklicken von Links jedes Mal wieder versuchen eine Deutsche Seite zu erlangen - das ist ätzend und leider auch technisch nicht sehr überzeugend! Auch auf dieser Seite sind die meißten Texte in Englisch -das ist einfach schlecht - wenn ich dem System als Sprache Deutsch angebe, erwarte ich von einem System im 21. Jahrhundert, dass er das nicht nur versteht sondern auch beibehält und auch bei der nächsten Anmeldung in dem Account noch weiß und nicht wieder erneut mit dem "Engisch-Zirkus" beginnt. Leider ist diese Programm gefühlt davon weiter entfernt als Berlin von NewYork! Dass ich inzwischen 79 Jahre alt bin ist einerseits schön, andererseits leider sehr anstrengend, da die Anforderungen an einen Account ganz offensichtlich im 21. Which dictionary are we using? (Or are we allowing English spelling to be supplanted with American or other spelling?)

Whereas in MS Windows I can choose UK English or one of the many different forms of English in use elsewhere, I'm noting that in Mozilla/Firefox I get the typical warning under a spelling that does not equate with the spelling used in the current dictionary and yet these spellings are not UK English...

Even I choose UK English as my default dictionary the spelling of "colour", "neighbour", aluminium, still give this indicator.

ich kann Firefox nich in deutsch wiedergeben. Bei der Sprachauswahl geht immer alles auf Englich zurück. Das Problem besteht seit der Ubuntu-Version 18.04.6.was kann ich tun?

After Firefox automatically updated to version 156.0 (64-bit) on Windows 11, I can no longer change the browser interface language.

The browser UI is currently displayed in English. In Settings > Languages, I can select Chinese as the Browser Language, but the change is never applied.

What happens: - I select Chinese as the Browser Language. - Firefox asks to restart (or saves the setting). - After restarting Firefox, the entire interface is still in English. - Rebooting Windows does not help. - The setting appears to be ignored.

Before updating to Firefox 156, the browser language worked correctly.

Additional information: - Firefox version: 156.0 (64-bit) - Operating system: Windows 11 - The issue started immediately after the automatic update. - Website language settings work normally. - Only the browser UI language cannot be changed.

Has anyone else experienced this issue after updating to Firefox 156?

In my Settings, the browser's fallback language is set to Portuguese, without giving me any other language choice, nor leaving it blank. I assume this is the reason I keep seeing menus, notifications, etc., randomly popping up in Portuguese.

Hi, During spellcheck, the option to accept a flagged misspelling using the "Add To Dictionary" appears in the menu. Where are these entries stored? If they are editable I'd like to fix an occasional error. In addition, I'd like to keep a copy of my own additions that can be dropped into a fresh Firefox install.

when we open firefox, the language comes up in Germany, it whats to know if we want to translate to English but should come up in Englisg. we went into settings and made sure it was set to English
