After most recent update all my bookmarks and passwords disappeared and I cannot seem to recover them. This is extremely frustrating. Has anyone else had this happen? I tried using the recovery process but it did not work.

Once again I have experienced that my Bookmarks disappeared. Some months ago, I had a HTML backup made, for easy Import. Now I started out by shutting down Firefox, followed by a restart. That worked last time (without import) This time it did no change. I shut down Firefox, and restarted the PC....... no change. (without import) Then I shut down Firefox and restarted the PC. Opened Firefox, and wanted to import the Bookmarks from the HTML file. The system comes up with a message stating that the file does not contain any bookmark references. ( Opening the HTML file using Firefox, reveals that all bookmarks are there, and can be used ) I uninstall Firefox, and re-install it . Flw. I try the import once again, using the HTML file...... to no avail. What am I missing here ?? My final option appears to be moving the bookmark one by one.. rather time consuming.

Firefox just updated and ALL of my bookmarks are gone. There is NOTHING. WTF? I am not a computer person so reading help articles just makes my head spin and of course I can't reach a real live person at Mozillabold text. Can anyone help?

a few days ago I received a message that i had an upgrade from Firefox. After that I can't find the bookmarks I had saved for paying bills as well as other important items.

I run the current Firefox version under Windows 11 Pro on a Dell Inspiron 15 3530 laptop, Lately, I've been having problems with my bookmarks:

• First, I found that I had somehow lost a large number of bookmark tags; it took me several days to restore them,
• Next, I found that I had lost a bunch of bookmark subfolders; the bookmarks (for the most part) are still listed under their tags.
• When I try searching for tags in Bookmarks Manager, the search yield no results
• When I try to restore my bookmarks from a previous date, I get an "unable to process file" message.
• When I try to open the profile folder through the debugging information page, I get a "file not found" message. After some searching, I found the profile folder not at "C:\Users\croge\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\7csymh5k.default-release", but at "C:\Users\croge\AppData\Local\Packages\Mozilla.Firefox_n80bbvh6b1yt2\LocalCache\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles", Something seems to have gone haywire--did I miss something, or is there an error somewhere?

New computer upgrade from MS10 to MS 11 365. I lost all bookmarks for internet locations. How do I retrieve them? Where is the new bookmark access icon on the Firefox home screen?

Suite à la mise à jour de Firefox avec l'arrivée des nouveaux profils, j'ai perdu tout ce que j'avais enregistré sur ma session : tous mes mots de passe, mes marque-pages ainsi que les données de mon compte. Impossible de les retrouver ou de récupérer les données de mon compte initial. Je ne comprends pas ce qu'il s'est passé et surtout, j'aimerais savoir comment faire pour récupérer mes mots de passes et marques pages qui ont disparus ??

OBJECT : Le système de marque-pages et d’historique n’est pas opérationnel, car l’un des fichiers de Firefox est en cours d’utilisation par une autre application. Certains logiciels de sécurité peuvent provoquer ce problème

I would like to have a solution to reactivate all the bookmarks in the personal bar.

I have got a mac book Yesterday i could not open my usual firebox on my pc and i had to dowload a news one but i cannot have my former bookmark could you help my

I use the Firefox browser.

While online, as I pressed a letter , Firefox closed, and its icon on the Taskbar disappeared.

After finding a Mozilla support page, and updating the browser, I found that all of my Bookmarks had disappeared.

And even worse. I tapped the 3 bars in the upper right corner to go to > Settings > Privacy Security > Saved Passwords. All of my Passwords were eliminated too. This is disastorous.

Help, I'm 71 years old.

3 times now, my account has completely reset, forcing me to log into everything again and not working with the key that I copy and pasted and downloaded. I would like my old data back. Why does this keep happening?
