Suddenly I cannot search from the search bar. It defaults to the address bar. why "fix" something that was not broken. Being forced to use the address bar is frustrating. If you go directly to the address bar, it tells you it cannot find that site.

My Hoepage is set to Firefox. In the center of that page is a Search box which I used always. Now when I try to type in it, my cursor shoots up to the top to the ADDRESS bar. I do NOT want to SEARCH from the address bar. I want to search in the Firefox search box. I also have Duckduckgo set up in that search bar. After the last 2 Firefox updates, I can no longer type my search in that box, but can ONLY search in the ADDRESS bar. Please help be restore the use of the Firefox Search box.

Previous solution: switch browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoffToAwesomebar to false does not work anymore.

I am having a problem with Firefox. Some websites do not load correctly and certain extensions do not work as expected.

I have already tried restarting Firefox and checking my internet connection, but the issue still happens.

Firefox has been my browser of choice for well over 20 years. I have a game I play every day (from FaceBook) just this week when I try to go to it on my laptop - it says your browser does not support WebGL. it has always opened using Firefox - this is a new error message. and the computer is only 5 months old and has Windows 11 on it. I do not want to switch to Google or Edge.

Like I said - opening the app worked every day up until about a week ago. What gives?

When a system-wide VPN application (not built into Firefox) is enabled, the behavior of the address bar changes: on the first click, it only shows 5 sites (Top Sites), instead of the usual 9. After pressing the Spacebar, the list from browsing history loads normally. The problem persists after turning off the VPN and only disappears after a full restart of Firefox. I just had a firefox tab with a pop up asking me to try ai features... my options were "yes" or "maybe later". How do I stop the slop sales? I want ZERO pop ups... from Mozilla or anyone else! I didnt see settings that would disable mozilla sales pop ups - is there some way to turn these off permanently? I have already turned off the ai features. Really appreciate any suggestions!

The fonts are not rendering properly on few websites, example(apnetv.xyz), everything was working fine with stable release of v146.

The beta versions were having the same issue, i assumed it was related to Beta releases, so I switched back to stable one. However now firefox has released stable v147, the issue persists. Kindly fix it.

I am not aware of having adblock. I have looked in settings and don't see it on but Angels Gifts won't let me collect my game pieces because it says it detects adblock. I looked in extensions and don't see it. what should I do?

Today following a brief power outage I was no longer able to sign in to AOL with Firefox on my desktop computer. I am able to sign in to all other apps with no problem. I tried clearing my cache, restarted Firefox, restarted my computer and spent 30 minutes on remote desktop access assistance with AOL trying to fix the problem with no success. I can log in to my account using Chrome on the desktop computer and can log in with no problem using my Android phone but can't log in using my desktop computer with Firefox. I've verified that my Firefox version is updated. I am running Windows 11 Pro.

I would greatly appreciate any helpful advice.
