We have a AJAX uploader (Cutewebui) in our site. It was working fine for smaller and larger files. But after upgrading firefox version to 100, it is not working. It is giving error 'html5: the upload task is interrupted'.

For older versions it is working fine.

Please help us to resolve it.

moz back up says my profile is corrupted. my emall works in every way, but when try to use moz back u to make a back up it says my profile is corrupted . Can someone tell me how to fix this ? Or can someone tell what I can do that is better ?HELP!!!!!!!!

For years I have been using Firefox. If I clicked on a hyperlink in any of my programs, Outlook messages, websites etc, Firefox opened a new tab. That behaviour has suddenly stopped for websites including this one occasionally. It seems to still work for Outlook. Has Firefox changed its policy?

The advice on https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1283295 is to edit browser.link.open_newwindow (3) 1:current tab; 2:new window; 3:new tab; But that is already set to 3.

What other settings might work? And why has this been changed?

Every day I am interrupted by McAfee with daily notifications across my screen saying they have detected a virus and to sign up with them. I have NEVER been a customer of McAfee and would like these nuisances to stop. Is there a way I can ban them from my pc. Thank you.

Please turn off the download drop down menu that appears every time I do a download...if you cant do that then give your users the option of turning it off or on...

Even though my settings is set for "always ask ..", in the latest Firefox versions all files are automatically saved to "Downloads" on my hard drive. Could you please rectify this error?

Hello Team,

gmail page initially loads in firefox and then doesn't get updated at all. Upon trying to refresh it just gets stuck at Google workspace initialization section. After that under new tab, google.com also doesn't work. Please fix this.

Hey! I think to migrate from Vivaldi but only couple of things stops me. I used to split some tabs in one screen there and looks like I can't find any good addons for that. There is one addon Tile Tabs WE but it is not what I need, I want to tabs be still along other tabs, I can detach them and place on my screen by myself without such addons but that's uncomfortable to use.

I'm having a problem related to an extension that I have to use to consult legal processes in my country (there is no other way, the extension is widely used and is a requirement, I've always used it). Not too long ago this browser started having problems with the extension that hurt my company like hell, this is our last attempt to continue using this browser.

For a while now I get sort of an error message some time after Windows start (every time): "XULRunner Could not determine any profile running in backgroundtask mode!"

I managed to find out that XULRunner is connected to Mozilla but I haven't found any info about this particular message so far, therefore, I would appreciate your help solving this issue.

My shortcut display had frequently visited websites shown and these have been replaced by several sponsored shortcuts I am not interested in. Plus, my saved user names and passwords are not loading even though they are still stored. I don't understand what happened, why these have changed, or how to restore what I previously had on shortcuts. I am not a tech savvy person and am stumped and looking for help

Is there a way in Firefox to have quicker access to saved logins than through the menu structure? The menus are four layers deep, which is frustrating as it is difficult to remember the route when only using the feature occasionally. Some websites don't respect the Firefox Password Manager, so it sometimes becomes necessary to manually find the credentials.

Is there any way to create a bookmark to the saved login section?

Is there perhaps an add-on?

Using FF 100.0 on Win 10. When I click a link to something that I don't want Firefox to open, like PDFs, I get the "What should Firefox do with this file?" dialog. If I select "Open with," as I usually do, the file opens in my selected program, but still downloads to my desktop. Some filetypes just open, I don't get that dialog. Those download to my desktop as well.

I've not noticed this behavior before. Maybe I inadvertantly changed a setting. Can someone tell me how to stop this from happening?

while I was running a game on steam (Apex legends), and Firefox on my other screen, I was using too much memory, so the steam game and Firefox crashed. The game works fine, but Firefox won't load anything, Except for settings and the "About:" pages. When I try to visit a website it does not even attempt to load it, but the website does show up in my history. I've restarted Firefox, I have reinstalled Firefox, I have restarted my computer, I've cleared my cookies and cache history, but no websites will load and it will only run properly in troubleshooting mode. Oddly enough it won't load any websites but while I'm in the add-on manager I can download extensions.

Hi, current version is 100.0.2. Running on Win 10 (10.0.19044 build 19044). Have refreshed Firefox and also tried a clean install - problem still exists. Have done a scan using HouseCall - no gremlins found. For the last few weeks my browser has been playing up. After a few minutes pages would basically stop loading, clicking on a new link would open a new window but nothing would load. Disabled my Ad Blocker extensions (I had two) and issue resolved itself. Re-enabled Ad blocker (AdGuard AdBlocker) and problem returned. Disabled it, problem went, tried Ghostery (not used before), issue returned. Both extensions are recommended. Similar issue exists on my work computer - one ad blocker and after a few site visits pages no longer load, and links no longer react to a click, home button no longer works. I close and open and I get told firefox is already running and do I want to close it before opening again. Pretty sure it's not just my home computer. Any help would be welcomed.

When opening History the column headers are there but no dates are shown in the Added and Last Modified columns. These columns are selected in Views and the listed web pages appear to be correctly sorted into Added date order. My browser is up to date an is 100.0.2 64 bit. Thanks

I am still stumped as to why Firefox crashes, IF and that's a big IF, my session is restored, why my tabs are blank but the website names are still on the tabs. Click to reload sometimes works, while other times it doesn't. Google, Facebook, Twitter, WordPress websites I am logged into and others will not load anymore for at least an hour. The only way to access them is to open a private window. What is happening to this browser that causes these sites to not load anymore? Any clearing the browser history/cache doesn't bring these sites back. They will only come back an hour after the crash. I've also cleared my ISP cache too (ipconfig/flushdns).

I am an employer and use Indeed website to hire staff. I can log into my Indeed web account and can access all webpages except the Jobs webpage, the most fundamental part of this exercise.

I contacted Indeed and phone rep said to use Google Chrome which worked easily.

I am a dedicated Firefox user and do not want to use Google Chrome. Please fix this access problem which forces an employer to use Chrome to hire his workers.

So weird, in the last few days, I've had intermittent behavior using FF.

Some examples - I log into my Gmail account, and it works for several minutes and then goes unresponsive and I can't get new mail, when I click the refresh icon or refresh the browser. - Last 3 days, when I click a hyperlink in an email, a new browser tab opens, but it's blank, the url doesn't seem to pass to the new tab - When I type a search term in browser address bar and hit enter, the tab refreshes but nothing happens... e.g. https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=firefox

Troubleshooting steps tried. - Disabled all extensions - Started to uninstall FF, but got prompted to "refresh firefox" instead, which I did yesterday, but still have the same problems...

I can access Gmail and other functionality works fine on Chrome on same laptop. I've used different laptop with FF and it works fine, both machines on the same network....
