When I updated to Firefox 25.0.1 all my add-ons were gone so I downloaded some of them again. My problem is with Flashgot when I downloaded it I can add the Flashgot (thunderbolt) sign to the toolbar, but the Flashgot media icon (which looks like a cinema reel) is not visible.

So basically when I try to add add-ons I right click on the Firefox toolbar which gives me the option to "remove or add items" by dragging them. So I dragged Flashgot media (called FG Media) (which is not visible in the menu by the way) and predictably was not visible on the Firefox add-ons toolbar

Anyone know what's up?

When I run Firefox it just churns away and expires. Sometimes, if I just leave it, after ten/twenty minutes it will run v, v slowly. I have uninstalled and installed Firefox. I have the most recent version of Avira [14] and have removed Firefox and added to permitted applications, still no joy. Am writing this from another Browser. Also if I close Firefox and then try to restart I keep getting the Firefox is running... Getting seriously annoying now. I can only assume that Firefox is not quite up-to-date with Avira's version yet. The other browser runs without problem.

Today Roboform 7.9.2.5 toolbar, the latest version, no longer loads in Firefox 25.0.1. It is listed in the Firefox addons and worked fine previously (i.e. yesterday), but for unknown reasons won't load today. I have closed and reopened both programs, but it continues to be unavailable. Roboform does load appropriately in my other browsers.

I received an email from AppleID@customers.appstore.36.ca asking me to update my account info. As my cc expiry date had just changed so I thought oh damn I forgot. I put in my updated info, then when I hit submit, at least I think that was what was on the bottom, don't honestly remember, any way a screen for "Reported Web Forgery" popped up. I got out of there I did not go any farther but did my information go anywhere? Looking closer at the email, there it DHgate.com web address at the bottom. Please put my mind at ease! Thank you. I just need to know if my info went any where.

when I click for a new tab in the browser, it loads 'search.conduit.com'. This is in the variable 'newtab.url'. I would like to get rid of search.conduit. I have read to existing help material but still don't understand how to change newtab.url.

when I use either the scroll down bar on the right side or arrows up/down the display on the screen distorts at an angle as it moves up or down. does not reset with time

I have a 2007 Intel Processor with Vista and my latest version of Mozilla Firefox now opens off the monitor screen. How do I get it to open normally without losing my bookmarks etc. Thanks

When I open a new tab, I no longer get a blank page. Instead, this link opens automatically. search.conduit.com/?ctid=CT3319766&octid=EB_ORIGINAL_CTID&SearchSource=69&CUI=&SSPV=&Lay=1&UM=2&UP=SPBE0988F4-A2BC-4595-B005-51E70B9E0B94 I did nothing to make this change and I don't recognize it at all. I am concerned that my computer may have a virus, so I will do a scan. How do I remove the above link and make it stop appearing when I open a new tab? I just want a blank page.

I have a recurring issue that's really annoying: my left/right arrow keys (including CTRL+arrow keys) occasionally and randomly fail to work when entering text in certain text boxes on certain websites. This never occurs in "simple" unformatted text boxes (Facebook, search boxes, this very box I'm typing in...), but unpredictably happens in more complex ones (WYSIWYG editors, new youtube comments...).

I have tried disabling all extensions and running Firefox in safe mode and this *seems* to have solved the problem, though I can't be sure and I can't isolate which extension it might be, since the issue happens at random: on the same website it will happen and then not happen.

I'm on Firefox 25.0, though I've had this issue for years with countless versions of Firefox.

The extensions I have installed and enabled:

Adblock plus Bamboo Feed Reader, Dimmer, Download Helper, Drag&Drop Zones, Flagfox, FlashVideo Downloader, Flashblock, Flashgot, Grab and Drag, MouseZoom, Status-4-Evar, Youtube High Definition

Since Ubuntu Mozilla Daily ppa is no longer regularly updated (see https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-mozilla-daily/+archive/ppa ), I want to build my own self-signed Firefox packages similar to the ones created by Ubuntu Mozilla Daily; but I can't find anywhere the way they are built.

Actually I successfully compile Firefox, so I need just the necessary informations in order to build a deb package with it.

I use IE-Favorites not only for internet url shortcuts, but also as a normal folder (which it is actually). I work with Firefox on a Windows PC with plugin "PlainOldFavorites" for the bookmarks.

On my Mac , I would like the equivalent function (IE folder for bookmarks in Firefox) but the same plugin does not work on Mac. Which plugin would have that functionality ? To have access to the same folder (or a synchronized copy of Favorites) ?

Before i did an reset of firefox everytime I open a new tab with ctrl + n I could write in it directly, now I have to click in the navigation field to be able to write in it. I'm using Firefox 25.0.1 on Windows 7.

On site BigFun.be video requires a plugin. Which plugin? I have tried to download Microsoft video player for Firefox 1.0.0.8 and it does not take or show up under plugins.

BTW,I installed a Chrome a few days ago,but soon unstalled it.

Firefox keeps blocking "content that isn't secure" when I open my email and for the life of me, I don't know why and it is getting really irritating seeing this everyday and not being able to fix it.

I have read http://spf13.com/post/managing-multiple-firefox-profiles-in-os-x/ and https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Multiple_Firefox_Profiles#Using_the_profiles, but neither answers my question:

I'm on MacOSX, and I have two Firefoxes in my /Application folder: Firefox.app (version 25) and one I have renamed to FirefoxLatest.app (currently version 27). I need Firefox.app to stay on version 25 because of stuff™ in my development environment.

I want Firefox.app to start with the "lite" profile, and FirefoxLatest.app to start with the "default" profile. Is it possible to add/change something in e.g. Info.plist or application.ini in these app folders so that these apps start with the wanted profile?

Using profile_manager won't work in this case.

Why do I constantly have to worry about one of your updates ruining something I want to use.

I am beginning to hate software developers at Microsoft, Adobe, Java, and now Mozilla.

And please explain why incompatible extensions cannot be removed? I want to hear this one.
