I despise ai in every use and way with a passion. Now, it gets spammed everywhere on this browser, with no apparent way to disable and/or remove that filth. I don't want to see it, ever! Why is it even on by default??? I don't want "chatbots", "Ai assistants" or any of that shit at all.

Since the last update, I am unable to log into my American Express account using Firefox (I can log in using Chrome, but Firefiox is my default browser). After entering user name and password, the little spinng arrow goes around for 8-10 seconds and goes off again - it won't to progress to the next screen . Never any error messages, it just spins awhile and stops.

I installed Firefox yesterday, and everything was fine for a day. Today, when I play a YouTube video, the entire page freezes - I can't pause it, select text, or do anything. The page starts responding after about 10 seconds from last interaction.

Compared to Chrome, I can play 20 YouTube videos at once and everything works fine.

The problem only occurs on YouTube. Sites like CDA and Jellyfin work fine.

How can I transfer open tabs from my old computer to my new one? Syncing is enabled, and the sync tabs checkbox is checked, but the tabs aren't syncing on the new device. I also couldn't find any separate function to load tabs.

I do not want to search from the address bar. The search bar is what I want to go to but invariably goes to the address bar. Is there an about:config setting to change this?

After the update, a window popped up asking me to select a profile. But my profile, where all my passwords, bookmarks, etc. were, was gone. I couldn't restore my bookmarks because the only one available was from today and it`s "clean." Is there any way to restore my account data? Because everything was there: settings, bookmarks, passwords, history.

having problem signing into yahoo.com it wont accept my password, keeps telling me to look in messages when they send new password but cant get into firefox because i dont have way to get in

Will this fricking "The bookmarks and history system will not be functional" B.S. ever be fixed? Firefox didn't have this issue for years now for almost a year every time Firefox starts up on a cold boot I get this idiotic non-sense message!. I have to close the browser I JUST OPENED and reopen in. This error is pure B.S. as again cold boot, just launched there is NOTHING other than Firefox that might be accessing the various sql.db's...so if this message is to be believed Firefox is blocking Firefox from Firefox... FIX THIS!

Is there a way for me to opt out of any new "AI" functionality/features that would otherwise be enabled by default? Like the tab suggestions and perplexity in search. Having AI shoved down my throat from every corner of the internet is kind of frustrating.

After the latest Firefox update I've been unable to bring up all the bookmarks I had. I also lost bookmarks on Toolbar. I've followed posted recovery suggestions but haven't had any success retrieving bookmarks. Has this happened to anyone else? What do I do?

Firefox updated to v144.0 and deleted ALL bookmarks in the process. ALL troubleshooting efforts described by Mozilla are not accurate and do not resolve the issue. Given the >25% ratings on those trouble shooting pages, I'm betting a LOT of others have the same problem.

Can anyone provide ACTUAL help in restoring my bookmarks?
