How do I start Firefox in Safe Mode?
I would like to start Firefox with all extensions disabled. There used to be an option to start Firefox in Safe mode but I cannot find how to do so now.

Hi,
I'm having an issue with Firefox (on CachyOS, but i'm pretty sure that is not relevant) when I try to hit domain with PORT number.
To be clear, I have a "service" I am locally hosting on a more widely available "domain.com" (those are examples of course...) I am using this typology to still be able to generate Let's Encrypt certs for domains (that I own) not accessible outside my network for those sub-domains, and am using therefore Pi-hole to serve the few IPs of my few "service123.domain.com"
When I use a Chromium based browser (or FF ESR v128) the only DNS query is for "https://service.domain.com:8000" is "service.domain.com" (as seen on pihole queries and in FF-ESR/Chromium DNS cache), whereas FF 135 there is first a "service.domain.com" (righfully answered by my local DNS), and then a second query "_8000._https.service.domain.com" is sent, but my pihole doesn't seem to recognize (and shouldn't have to interpret anything concerning ports), so it sends it to upstream DNS (which are unable to answer)
I have disabled DoH, and every extensions. So I am really lost on what as changed in FF that would explain this, or if it's a pihole config problem (weirdly only affecting FF 135+ ...)
Feel free to ask anything, I may have omitted important info. Thanks in advance

Sidebar is a lousy feature. I don't use it, I don't want it and I can't get rid of it.
How can I remove the sidebar completely from my screen?

a website im using is trin to call an api with referer header and policy of "origin-when-cross-origin", but firefox overides it to "Same Origin Policy" with console msg: Referrer Policy: Less restricted policies, including ‘no-referrer-when-downgrade’, ‘origin-when-cross-origin’ and ‘unsafe-url’, will be ignored soon for the cross-site request
After a lot of search, i found that network.http.referer.disallowCrossSiteRelaxingDefault config setting should be set to false to allow any policy, but toggling between false or true has no affect. The request still fails with a cors error "Cross-Origin Request Blocked: The Same Origin Policy disallows reading the remote resource at..."
Is there a way to make this work? Or a way to allow the request to have this referer policy.

I'm trying to configure Firefox on Mac using our MDM. The goal is ultimately to control a bunch of settings, but I'm trying to start simple by just installing the 1Password extension.
When I deploy this .mobileconfig file, nothing seems to happen to Firefox. I made this by following the example at https://github.com/mozilla/policy-templates/blob/master/mac/org.mozilla.firefox.plist but it doesn't seem to work and I am not sure how to debug.

02/24/2025 @3:22 pm CDT -- Hi; Firefox has recently been telling me [in the Settings screen] that "your browser is managed by your organization." This is on the 'General' page. THAT'S A PROBLEM, esp. on a STANDALONE PC. I didn't change any settings for that to happen.
Since I first saw this message in January, I've reinstalled Win 11 several times; wiped my drive b/c of a security compromise, changed a whole lot of PWs and other things. This is from 48+ yrs. of being a Tech Lady. But I couldn't find a solution to this - to remove this 'organizational' mgmt. of my box. How can this be removed and the browser again realize that I am one independent person?
Thank you.

I have be using Firefox Browser with Norton VPN turned on for a few years now without any problems. I was browsing and got connected to a website, then ever since Firefox stops working when Norton VPN is turned on. I tried uninstalling Firefox completely using software, and reinstalled Firefox it, with no success. The Virus scans are clean. I have a dual boot of Windows 10 and 11. I use Windows 10 the most. I changed to Windows 11 and had no problems with Firefox until I imported bookmarks from Windows 10's Firefox.

I thought it might be because of the vpn, but I already uninstalled vpn, but that didn't help.
