When using some websites that ask for browser permission to use your location, the location is wrong.

I recently moved more than 2000 miles, and when I use Google Maps in Firefox on my Windows laptop, its "current location" (as in, the blue dot that appears once I give Google Maps permission to use my location) is always at my old address rather than my new one.

After some digging, I discovered https://mylocation.org/, which was very helpful in that it informed me of two different types of location lookup. One of them, based on my IP address, works like a charm and shows me at my new address. The other, called "Browser Geolocation", shows my old address. And I've confirmed that this information varies from browser to browser: Firefox is wrong, Chrome is correct, Edge is correct, Brave is wrong.

This must mean that the browser stores some kind of information somehow about my location, right? How do I update this so that it matches the public IP address location?

I was injured and in the hospital a long period. my phone number was changed by my daughter from [telephone number] to [telephone number] my email changed because cable one closed all their accounts. I can access this website from other computers on my same network. But from my computer I get the following message

After updating to the current version of my OS(listed below) I can no longer drag a tab to detach it from the firefox window. Doing so drags a preview of the tab, but it is never separated from the current window. I can drag it to an already existing window to move tabs from one window to another, but not to create a new window from a single tab.

Despite changing the settings and saving them to the cloud. Firefox keeps resetting to Canada as my default country. How can I change this since I live in the UK. I do not use a VPN for Canada.

I just updated Firefox & added recommended things. I went to "https://www.cranecu.org/" As soon as I hit the LogIn button I got an "Error 404" message. However, I called the office help & they suggested I try another browser. I switched to Safari the button works just fine. Any Suggestions? After SUSE-15.6 updated FIREFOX to 115.11.0esr, all sites show choppy videos. I have no idea why or what I can do to resolve the issue. If someone has an idea, it would be greatly appreciated

I am unable to view "Conversations" within the Yahoo Finance Stock Quote portal. This feature displays real time discussion of the security and has thousands of responses. Noticed this when using the Microsoft 365 browser that this is not a problem. My PC is a Dell with Windows 10.

On my PC's Firefox wont connect to my work servers"DQS Worldwide". I have tried to connect to,"auditcenter.dqsus.com". The page times out and wont connect. It works with Opera and Yandex but not fire fox. I have tried to connect in Michigan,California and Europe. Can you fix this issue so that I can connect to "auditcenter.dqsus.com" and use Firefox. There are login pages that have saved usernames I want to clear but am unable to. I have gone to settings. Under passwords I have everything unchecked. I have examined "Saved passwords" and it is showing "No passwords saved". I have tried with all of the Passwords options checked and unchecked but I all ways see"No passwords saved". Please help.

I'm running both versions of firefox on my mac by renaming the .app for nightly. However, when I click on a link on an application, it seems to default to my nightly version instead of release.

For both versions, the "default browser" setting is enabled. One thing I tried was letting chrome take the default again, and setting it from the release version after. Both versions then showed it checked again. I cannot uncheck it from the beta version.

It seems they might be reporting to the OS as the same app for this purpose.

Another thing I tried was changing the app name in it's Info.plist. Now, I see a new name in the menu bar and it shows as a distinct browser in the OS' "default browser" settings. However, it doesn't seem to solve my issue. All links still open in the Beta, even if the only one currently open is Release.

Is there a way to have it default to the normal version of firefox?

Hello Firefox community,

I'm not sure if this is an issue or a suggestion. The thing is, I bought a chatbot which supports voice input. Every Chromium browser displays the respective input icon and works great. Sadly, Firefox, my favorite browser and the one I use to promote, won't even display this icon.

I just wanted to comment about this because it makes me sad.
