I get the following two error messages when I click on Foxfire. Couldn't load XPCOM; and Entry Point not found; followed by this:  ?Nan@Decimal@blink@@SA?AV12@XZ could not be located in the dynamic link library...

I tried to uninstall the program, but got the same two messages and it would not let me. I downloaded a new version and I'm getting the same messages. Everytime I start my computer, I get the same two messages and have to click out of them to keep going. I've installed another browser, but at this point, I just want to uninstall Foxfire so it stops popping up with error messages all the time.

Anybody know how to resolve this? Thanks.

As you can see in the attached image the highlight is coming out grey instead of blue, which is what is showing when I select 'save screenshot'. It used to be this error happened maybe one in 20 times and it was annoying because I am making these screenshots for use in youtube videos and it becomes unreadable, but now it is every single screenshot even after doing it dozens of times and with different pages.

Multiple users are reporting in Microfix's Mozilla Firefox and ESR Updates 2024 in the AskWoody forum that the two options at Settings | Browsing | Recommend extensions as you browse and Recommend features as you browse were both automatically re-enabled when Firefox updated to v127.0.0. I was able to confirm both those settings were previously disabled in my Firefox browser and re-enabled without my permission in v127.0.0.

So far this as been confirmed in desktop builds of Firefox v127.0.0 and Firefox ESR v115.0.2 released on 11-Jun-2024, but not in Portable builds of Firefox. I'm hoping that the automatic re-enabling of these settings is a bug, and not a deliberate change to make Firefox more intrusive.

I should add that the first time I re-launched Firefox after upgrading to v127.0.0 on 11-Jun-2024 I saw a banner message asking me if I'd like to Open Firefox every time you start your computer?. I'm hoping that clicking the "Not Now" button button once will be enough to prevent this nag from reappearing.

Got up this morning and FF said all my tabs were crashed - GAH! Could not open ANY new tabs, not even a blank tab, without getting this message. Clicking on restore tabs did nothing. Closing & opening FF did nothing. Cleared startup cache & uninstalled ublock origin (the only extension I had) but that did nothing. Refresh firefox did nothing (except lose some of my preferences). Went to about:crashes and all it says is "No crash reports have been submitted." Every other suggestion I found online was beyond my comprehension. FF DOES work in troubleshooting mode only, but I lose some important functions in that mode. I've been using FF almost since it was born and have NEVER encountered a problem like this before. I hope someone can help!

SLES 15.5 QU2 in Mozilla Firefox 115.8.0esr was not supporting window.close() and it's showing like "firefox already running , but is not reponding to use firefox you must frist close the exiting firefox process , restart your device , or use a different profile"
