I contact you because, even without an adblocker, Youtube is very slow with Firefox navigator. I don't understand why and I don't have this problem with Google Chrome ? Fews years earlier, I never had this problem with slow Youtube when using Firefox Navigator. I don't know if the problem comes from Youtube or Mozilla and I contacted both of them.

Je vous contacte car, même sans bloqueur de publicité, Youtube est très lent avec le navigateur Firefox. Je ne comprends pas pourquoi et je n'ai pas ce problème avec Google Chrome ? I usually download and install manually the custom install of Firefox on Windows.

Recently, a new version was automatically installed without my permission and destroyed all my customization. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. I had to restore the older version from backup and I was going to stop updating.

But I see that the manual custom installation is still available for download.

I want to make sure that if I use it it will not wipe out my customization again.

I would like to force spellcheck for all websites, and override any HTML code from the websites. which may be disabling it. This should be done automatically and not by inspecting and manually altering the HTML. I consulted with ChatGPT and tried adding some code to my existing userChrome.css but it is having no effect, even after clearing cache and restarting Firefox. For instance, faxzero.com has a form with spellcheck disabled. I tinkered with the CSS and kept testing faxzero, but the spellcheck always remains disabled. How can I accomplish my goal?

Can't log on to x.com. Getting this message: "Firefox's Enhanced Tracking Protection (Strict Mode) is known to cause issues on x.com".

I added x.com and twitter.com as an exception in Settings/Enhanced Tracking Protection and still not working.

What the heck firefox???

If I have an unloaded tab on right of the current tab and I close the current one, instead of going to the right tab, which is the unloaded one, it jumps to another tab which I'm not sure has what relation to it, it certainly is not the tab that opened it.

I removed every modified entry of "Browser.tab" in About:Config, installed "Select After Closing Tab", no result.

receiving repeated unwanted pop-ups supposedly from at & t, how to stop. When tried to cut and paste the pop-up jumped to another screen, but was able to forward sending web address to at & t fraud.

If happens again will update this post with web address.

Not aware of any after marked pop-up blocker installed on my desktop.

Any security setting which can be set in MS to block pop ups?

My password saved are deleted every time I close FF. It used to be manageable because Google and other sites didn't require me to fill my passwords (cookies did the trick I suppose) but now I also loose access to gmail and Youtube every time I close FF. It's annoying to have to use 2FA every damn time. And keeping the passwords available.

I've tried every answer I found by looking around :

- tried to start in safe mode - disable hardware acceleration - I have no extensions

FF saves the passwords correctly (at least they appear in the saved password tab) but they are erased every time I restart FF. The cookies aren't automatically deleted (FF remembers my browsing history) but I need to relog into Google.

I getting frustrated.

I use firefox (as mozilla) for decades ago. Never had issues, is super easy, fast and ...secure (?) A hacker last week have access on my Firefox, download ALL my saved passwords as CSV... as a plain TEXT and ATTACKS on my entire life!!! And the nightmare goes on and on... Stole my primary Google Account, Facebook, Instagram, Ubisoft, PayPal, Microsoft Account.... and other 20 sites beside this. For GOD sake, didn't you EVER think to place an extra security layer on this EXTREMELY SENSITIVE details??? A master password? 2FA or something else? Are you serious??? I'm so sorry BUT YOU'RE LOST MY TRUST!!!! Period!!! Give a change to your selves and PROTECT YOUR CUSTOMERS!
