This last week one of my inboxes started to group my emails by Today, Last 7 days,Last 14 day and Older. I find no option to change that back to showing all the emails in date order like my other email accounts. The other posts on this topic that I can find are all for older versions that I don't see the commands for in my version.

I am using version 115.11.1 - 64 bit.

I have two identical instances of the Thunderbird 115.11.0 (64-bit) installed on Fedora 40 (two different boxes) They display Email preview differently (See attached pictures)

Anybody knows how to change that view? What settings?

Hi is there an add-on or can the settings of Thunderbird be changed so that when an email notification on macos comes through, it shows the first few words of an email. This is helpful for receiving verification codes. You can know it just by a glance at the notification rather than open the email.

At the moment it shows the email from and subject but not the first few words of the email body (unlike iOS).

There should be a feature where you can copy the link to particular text on a webpage (much like when you click on a Google result for a certain part of an article). Where do I suggest features for Firefox?

If I right-click on any photo or item in the explorer and choose "share", the mailadresses that show up as options in the "share window" is not associated with Thunderbird, but with Outlook. I have tried every solution I have found on the net, incl. making sure TB was chosen as the mail client for any file type, removing any leftovers from outlook and from registration data base, but still only adresses connected with Outlook shows up (and I can see that it is from an old mailing list, that does not include more recent contacts). So why does the share windows not have assess to Thunderbird and its mail adresses?

I'd like to use microsoft exchanges in to the thunderbird desktop app. Is that possible? I've tried to set it up but it doesn't seem to be working. I'm able to receive emails but when I try to send it asks for a password and it says it's not correct....

Video in Firefox does not run .. no error messages .. nothing. It works fine in other browsers. When I click on the video .. nothing happens. It used to work but not now and I don't think I've changed anything.

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to suggest a feature that I believe would enhance user experience: the option to use custom wallpapers or backgrounds in Firefox. Having the ability to personalize the browser with custom images would make it more appealing and engaging for users. Could you consider implementing this feature in a future update?

I have added many add-ons, some of them are visible in the screenshot. But i can't pin them to the toolbar. And therefore not able to use them. For some reason only three of them are visible when i click the plugin button in the toolbar and only one of them namely 'ublock origin' is pinned by default. I have tried many things but still not able to pin any plugin

Hi, I would like to use my computer's built in print dialog instead of the one that pops up in FireFox. I know there is a button at the bottom of the dialog that allows me to choose my system print dialog, but when it comes up there is no way to view the number of pages like when I print from other apps.

I tried to use some online instructions using about:config, but it doesn't change anything. I would like to know how to turn off the FireFox dialog permanently. It only started happening in the last few FireFox updates.

I am running a 2010 Mac Pro in Mojavé and am using FireFox Version 115.11.0esr (64-bit). Please help. I need to see how many pages I'm about to print so I can decide which ones I want to actually print.

I have Multiple Google play cards and the Play store won't accept anything..I have sent Multiple documents..emails..receipts..basically everything they have asked, I have sent in..they have kept my main Google account in flag state for almost a year..when I have been giving them all bank..ids..etc that they ask for!! Nothing!! Going NOWHERE!! I have been at this for over 6 months almost weekly!! Please help!! My main account is [edited] @gmail.com. I'm trying to add the Adobe Acrobat extension for some forms since I prefer it over the app, but it does not seem to be available in Firefox's extension add-ons. The instructions I found from Adobe themselves don't seem to account for the most recent version (unclear which version I have, I got it off the microsoft store) and there's a FAQ board saying the extension is only available for versions 73 and older. Is it simply not available for me or am I not looking hard enough? Thanks!

This topic was closed but the Bug was never fixed for Mac. The problem is, sometimes a spelling is correct as intended or not, depending upon its context in the email body. But the Spell Check Window covers that up as it blocks the middle of the email body.

It can't be moved in Thunderbird for Mac.

A previous post - now archived - suggested a left click on the (spell check?) window title area would allow moving the window. But that only works on ... Windows ... because it certainly does NOT work on a Mac. No click-drag, left or right, resulted in un-anchoring the spell check window from the center of the email body.

One example is when I used the word Add-ons. The spell check stopped at "ons", wanting to correct it to "one". If "ons" was by itself, I could see that. But I couldn't know that it referred to "ons" from Add-ons because the spell-check window covered that text.
