Firefox history cleared automatically after PC restart ?
This is happening from around 2 days. Say today I logged into support.mozilla.com then it would work for today only(or until I restart my PC) next morning when I boot my PC open firefox all history is cleared and I have to enter my Login details again which is kind of annoying. I checked for this problem with Google Chrome but it works fine.

Websites remembering you and automatically log you in is stored in a cookie.
- Create an allow cookie exception (Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: Exceptions) to keep such a cookie, especially for secure websites and if cookies expire when Firefox is closed.
Make sure that you do not run Firefox in Private Browsing mode.
- In Private Browsing - Use Firefox without saving history mode all cookies are session cookies that expire if that session is ended, so websites won't remember you.
- Do not use Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox to clear the "Cookies" and the "Site Preferences"
Clearing "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, and passwords.
Doesn't work Tried all the settings, Fully uninstalled Firefox, Installed a Fresh copy but still doesn't work. The interesting point is when I close and restart firefox it remembers the logged in sites hence I don't need to re-login but it is when I restart my PC and then open firefox all history is gone I've to re-login on each site I wish to visit. This didn't happen earlier with the older version (5) 6 is causing problems I guess. I am attaching my settings.
If you use cleanup software like CCleaner then check the settings for the Firefox application.
Still no use tried all. I'll check if this happens with Firefox 5 as well then post a reply
Nope now not even working with Firefox 5 :(
Please note that full uninstall and full install usually will NOT help, because your Firefox profile is kept intact between installations, and I believe that profile data is the usual cause of problems, not the app installation directory. Regards!
