My Snaptics scroll pad doesn't work in the browser window. It does work on other applications.

  • Synaptics* I am using a HP Pavilion zt3300 laptop, running Windows XP Home. The touchpad works, but the scroll area on it has stopped working. Tapping or sliding on it produces a cursor that looks like an arrow over a scroll bar. I've never seen this before, and it doesn't do anything. Updating the touchpad driver restored the scroll area except while in the browser window.
