Firefox 4 won't let me save any image off the internet (works fine with IE)

Ok...Firefox 4 won't let me save any image off the internet. It will let me right click on the image, but I won't let me choose a file type..like jpeg. I couldn't figure it out so i completely uninstalled firefox then reinstalled. I'm still having the same problems. I can save images normally with IE.
