after upgrade to 4 ver. firefox become extremely slow

I (win7 home edition) upgraded firefox from 3.6 to 4 ver., and it works extremely slow. Not only web-pages scroll sloooooooooly, but even browser menus open with huge delays. I tryed to disable all plugins, but this didn't help. What shall I do with my recently favourite browser?

It seems I've found the solution: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Troubleshooting%20extensions%20and%20themes#w_the-problem-does-not-occur-in-safe-mode I turned off hardware acceleration and firefox run much quicker.
