Hi
This add-on that I use might help:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/google-sign-in-popup-blocker/

The Xavier app in Firefox does not work.
Note 1: from before, after installing the Xavier app I cleared all cache and history from Firefox and restarted my computer. I had hope that with these actions, the Xavier app would actually work.
This is not the case.
So my question is why the hell is Firefox allowing Google to post a pop-up on my home page. NOTE 2: I do use https://www.google.com/ as my home page, but I see no reason for the sign-in pop-up to keep showing up.
It did not do this before and I fail to see anything in the settings that will allow me to make a change to get rid of this feature.
ChatGPT and Gemini AI only offer the generic solution to turn off all notifications or to increase the level of privacy, but all that does is screw up any access to any "normal" webpage. So both of these are a waste of time.
Any other solutions that you might recommend?
Thank you and best wishes,

Hi James
Google offers a service that enables people to sign into online services using their Google credentials. It sounds like the messages you are seeing are prompts for that service. This is not a Firefox issue, but the add-on I mentioned should stop them.
