Hi. There is a problem with video playback when skipping through the video using a playback bar. The video (but not audio) freezes at the spot when one skippes to another part of the video and re-establishes after a while (not so short while) to the part of the video that is currently played. I'm using Linux Fedora.

Did you install rpmfusion repo and the codecs?

https://rpmfusion.org/Configuration

https://rpmfusion.org/Howto/Multimedia

If you're using Flatpak Firefox all you have to install is ffmpeg-full 23.08

Sounds more like a system issue than a browser issue. I have no issue skipping through videos on YT. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQ61RL1GpEE

You provide no proof of the issue. How about using OBS to record the issue and then post it on your site of choice. What version of Fedora? What graphics card and driver version? Lan or Wi-Fi? X11 or Wayland? What desktop? What versions of ffmpegs are you running? You should also provide system info.

Operating System: openSUSE Leap 15.6 KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.11 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.115.0 Qt Version: 5.15.12 Kernel Version: 6.4.0-150600.23.47-default (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 Processors: 16 × AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 6850HS with Radeon Graphics Memory: 62.1 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon Graphics Manufacturer: HP Product Name: HP EliteBook 865 16 inch G9 Notebook PC
