I wrote to discogs.com support about a glitch on that site where autofilling my USA address always defaults to Guam (USA). This is what they said: Thank you for writing in! Sorry to hear of the difficulties here.

I was able to recreate the results you're receiving within Firefox, but was not able to recreate this within other browsers (Chrome, Safari), which were selecting the correct dropdown option (United States).

It appears this is an issue with how Firefox is interpreting our text fields, rather than a site bug. Autofill is a browser feature, rather than a site feature, and we unfortunately don't have the ability to modify which dropdown option Firefox selects when filling a free-text field.

For resolution, we would advise reporting this issue to Mozilla directly here:

If you have additional questions please let me know!

Is there anything to be done here? It's super annoying and discogs.com is not exactly a technical marvel.

Thanks d
