Firefox opening other apps

My issue is that whenever I do a fresh opening of the Firefox app on my 14" MacBook Pro, it immediately opens the App Store in the Twilio Authy app. Can anyone explain why this is occurring? Can someone tell me how to eliminate this problem and has it happened to anyone else?

Check your settings it sounds like that was changed by the App store not something Firefox changes.
