Encrypted form on web page - Firefox wouldn't send

HI, Had to fill in an encrypted form (here in the UK) from a Canadian Bank to finalise setup of a new account. On completion and attempted submission, Firefox wouldn't allow the IP address 192.168.0.1 (I'm using a D-Link USB G4 dongle) to send. It refused because the IP address is not secure. Is this a problem with the dongle (USB hardware, my G4 provider, or something in my computer, provider, or Firefox settings?
