When logging into my financial institutions website it reports back that I have version 91... of the Firefox browser installed and that it isn't supported. I actually have version 101.0.1 as reported by the browser itself. I called them and they asked me to check my version of Firefox by using www.whatismybrowser.com and it reports back that I'm running version 91. Can you help?

Chosen solution

You likely have enabled the "Resist Fingerprinting" in Firefox as that currently gives you a Firefox 91.0 ESR user agent. This will change with Firefox 102.0

Using Resist Fingerprinting in Firefox has its disadvantages as this affects the user agent, but also places you in the UTC timezone and gives you rounded screen dimensions and can give font issues with locally installed fonts and disables site specific zoom.

Note that this hasn't been a problem for me before and my browser is automatically updated so this has only recently become a problem. Maybe with the last update of Firefox (or two).

"Resist Fingerprinting" was enabled and disabling took care of the issue with my financial institution. As well, once I installed Firefox 102.0 this morning, re-enabled "resist Fingerprinting" and rechecked on whatismybrowser.com it came up with the newer version. My financial institution doesn't come up with unsupported browser message anymore either. Thanks you!
