I am trying to log onto a website that requires a user name and password. When I do, I get an error message. When I use the same username and password to log into the website on Safari it works fine. I have not changed any setting on Firefox, and it worked perfectly fine until last week.

Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?


Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.

Warning ! ! This will log you out of sites you're logged in to. You may also lose any settings for that website.
