I cannot log in to my Firefox account, even after resetting my password. The attached screenshot shows the dialog box that refuses my password and continually pops up. I can log into this support page from the browser.

That pop-up is about the Primary Password that is used to encrypt/lock the passwords as stored in Lockwise. If the PP is set then you need to enter this password to unlock the passwords. Firefox stores the credentials for the Firefox account in logins.json that is hidden from Lockwise and you need to unlock the logins to be able to login to the Firefox Sync Account.
