Incompatibility between Firefox downloads and Teams uploads?

When in Microsoft Teams if I try to upload a file that was downloaded in Firefox the file does not show up in the downloads list as an options to choose. When I try with Microsoft Edge there is no problem. The file is downloading in Firefox no problem but Teams does not seem to see it.
