My extensions disappeared today, for some reason. I added some back to the laptop I was working on, but when I switched to my other one, they were not there. Do extensions not sync? Add-ons are included in items being synced on my settings page. I was hoping to find they never disappeared from that laptop so I could see which ones to add back. I'm on a Windows 10 machine.

It can take some time to finish the sync, so make sure you leave the Firefox running long enough.

You can install the About Sync extension in Firefox 72 and newer on desktop to check what data is stored on the Sync server via the about:sync page provided by this extension.

Close and restart Firefox to access the about:sync page added by this extension (see the about:about page for possible about pages).

I wasn't syncing for the first time. I've used Firefox for years. It looks like all my cookies and my web history (I use DuckDuckGo, so I can't use Google's history) are gone. What could have done this?
