The search doesnt work, menu bar doesnt work all i get is the startup screen without the firefox logo and unable to search

I have the same problem. There is no access to "options" and the right hand menu. Tried to reinstall. That didn't work..same problem. Tried to delete the Firefox directories. Upon reinstall the same problem persists. Essentially Firefox will not properly install on my desktop.

Some problems occur when your Internet security program was set to trust the previous version of Firefox, but no longer recognizes your updated version as trusted. Now how to fix the problem: To allow Firefox to connect to the Internet again;

  • Make sure your Internet security software is up-to-date (i.e. you are running the latest version).
