My problem is with putting a Firefox shortcut on the screen. It's a newer phone with Android 10. I can put shortcuts on the screen using Chrome only. I have other browsers and they do not work either. I had no problem with my older Android 7 phone. I prefer Firefox but this is a problem. I believe it's an Android issue. Any help?

What happens when you try to add a shortcut for Firefox for Android?

I go through all the steps to put a shortcut on the screen including the final tap to install the shortcut. But no shortcut appears. This happens with Firefox and Opera browsers. Shortcuts work fine with Chrome. This newer phone has Android 10. My older phone with Android 7 has no problems with any browser.
