Firefox changes the file type during the downloading process
When I want to download a file with an appropriate file type, it is automatically changed to .zip. This behavior is observed only in Firefox browser, in others everything works well. Tried to reinstall Firefox - nothing changed. What should I do? Thank you in advance.

Do you just click the download button, or are you using 'Save As'?
Just click 'download'. Then the window appears, where I have to decide upon my next actions (either 'open with' or 'save file') and there I see that the extension of my file has been changed to .zip

Use the right-click > Save As but before pressing Save, check and correct all the displayed information.
Could be something similar to another thread where content sniffing seems to change the file extension to match the detected file type.
