Hi,

Can I turn off the option to automatically sign in to my Firefox account as soon as I open the app? I would like to be asked for my password every time I open Firefox, considering that all my passwords are accessible there.

Thanks a lot,

Antoine

Are you using Sync because that can be a reason why Firefox asks for the Primary Password on startup ?

Firefox stores the credentials for the Firefox Account in the Password Manager and you need to enter the PP to unlock the passwords.

Only someone with access to your computer account has access to your data.

As to requiring the browser to need a password when you start it up,

Your ‘logged-in’ status is stored in special cookies. If the cookie is removed, you are logged out.

Type about:preferences#privacy<enter> in the address bar. The button next to History, select Use Custom Settings.

Turn on Remember My Browsing And Download History At the bottom of the page, turn on Clear History When Firefox Closes. At the far right, press the Settings button. Turn on Cache and Form And Search History and whatever else you want.
