Firefox 78.x.x not finding printers

Since the update to Firefox 78 (Including the security updates) Firefox has been unable to see the printers installed on my computer. All other software I have tried sees the printers fine but the only thing Firefox sees is "microsoft print to PDF".

I can not find any help article for any issues even close to this so unsure where to even start fro trouble shooting other than restarting firefox and restarting windows both of which I have done and neither fixed the problem.

I searched earlier but this page did not come up in the results before, but searching after you posted here it came up as the second choice using the same search terms as earlier. And the "About:config delete entry for print_printer fixed the issue.

Had to undo the chosen solution, seems the problem keeps coming back every time I shut down Firefox. And before anyone suggests it I have checked the print_printer setting and yes it is resetting.

Any other suggestions.
