Informed that my Mozilla was updated, I was asked to sign up for Firefox. Is there a chat with support so I can locate what it is that is involved?

When I opened up Mozilla this am, the screen went to notice that I was updated, and would I like to sign up for Firefox. I scanned the offerings, and assumed all the info would be there when I hit next. It went to signup right away, I confirmed my email, but what is available to me seems scattered in different place; in fact, I'm confused with being Mozilla signed up, and now Firefox. I was hoping you had a chat support so I could be directed to easier understanding.

Chosen solution

Signing up to a Firefox Account is optional as you can see by the title on that page, so you do not need to sign up for a Firefox Account.

No account required. But you might want one.

The Firefox browser collects so little data about you, we don’t even require your email address. But when you use it to create a Firefox account, we can protect your privacy across more of your online life.

My problem is with Clearing History. When I push the button for Clear Recent History, nothing happens. Previously, when I did this, the history completely cleared. I have tried to contact Firefox or Mozilla, but there does not seem to be any way to do that. A chat support would be helpful. Is there any such thing?

We are in similar boats. I'm sure this material is out there, but I went thru FAQ's and other similar helpers, but I'm not sure what is fully involved with the sign up I referenced. You have a different problem franksch, but if we could speak to someone on chat, would be helpful

Yes, I realized it was optional, but on that page that lists the 5 features, I wasn't finding how those featured are utilized by me, the member. There is no charge, so it's a matter then of learning the advantages and you provided me with the page that does that, thank you
