Hi guys,

Is there a setting or an add-on that triggers a warning pop-up if I want to leave/refresh/close a page in which I had been editing a form?

It would be great if this could be switched on for specific domains only, but it would already be helpful to just switch this feature on in general. I‘m working with a website where many times information gets lost because page is left by accident.

I haven‘t found a solution so far. Thanks very much in advance!

Hi philippwr, I'm not sure about a warning pop-up but, have you tried Pinning the tab?

Right click on the tab and select Pin Tab

Here's more information:

Some website do this via an onbeforeunload event (about:config -> dom.disable_beforeunload = true), but you can't add this for other website.

There are extensions that can backup data you typed, so maybe look for such a workaround to prevent losing what you typed in case you accidentally close a tab and "History -> Recently Closed Tabs" doesn't help.
