Hi DesmoBit, sorry to hear about the crashes. Could you try starting Firefox in its "Safe Mode"?

Since your Firefox won't run long enough to trigger that from the menu, I believe you need to to to your Terminal and run:

firefox -safe-mode

You may need to specify the Firefox installation path (e.g. /usr/lib/firefox)

When given a choice, click "Start in Safe Mode" and NOT the Refresh button.
