I'm an old pro at creating desktop shortcuts on Firefox, but very recently - most come across with the standard Firefox Icon no matter the site. Can't find help

I've spent days looking at any help topics I can find, add ons, extensions, all the settings on my pc, but can find no joy, the websites work - but I need the Icon other than the Firefox Icon pic. Some come across ok. This has been happening for about 3 weeks.

Interesting. The Chase.com/login is a bad link. I went to https://secure07c.chase.com/web/auth/dashboard#/dashboard/overviewAccounts/overview/index and was able to create a drag-and-drop desktop shortcut.

I put in the url you provided and in fact, the shortcut did drag&drop over for Chase. So odd - tried many of the websites provided by Chase/JP Morgan - guess some good, some not.

anyways... going to flag as resolved for now. :)

Such a link to a specific page can change at any time, so be cautious with bookmarking a link to a specific page as it can easily get broken.

The "Sign In" button on the main "www.chase.com" page currently shows this URL on hover:

Firefox, Google, Edge, Chrome, no matter what default browser they all have this same problem. Explorer functioned fine but s no longer supported and visited sites recommend changing the browser. Doen so with the prblem in discussion as result. Very frustrating that nobody seems to know how to resolve this while certainly. Ashaming that even helpdesks aren't able to help.
