Address Book Disappeared and Can't Remake It Mac

About a month ago the address book in a Thunderbird account disappeared. Actually the book is still there but all the addresses came out. They were reentered but recently they all disappeared again and this time nothing else can be entered in the address book. The systems involved are Thunderbird 60.8.0 running on Mac OS 10.10.5. Generally I am out of the office Fridays to Tuesday if you have a question and I don't respond immediately.
