Mobile help

Susan

I am using Firefox on a mobile phone but the help section I am consulting in order to find out how to work with downloads is for a PC. Not very helpful. In fact very counterproductive since it is very frustrating.

Hi

When you download a file using Firefox for Android, it will be saved to a folder called Downloads on your Android device.

If you have a file manager app on your device you should be able to find this folder and the files in it, alternatively if you connect a USB cable from your device to a computer you should be able to see the files on your computer screen.

I believe I asked how I remove a download. At any rate, that is what I am having trouble with.

Hi

I am sorry, I did not see that.

From the Firefox for Android home screen, tap the three dot menu in the top right corner and select Tools, followed by Downloads.

You should see a screen with your downloaded files. Long press on the one(s) you wish to delete and the option to delete them should appear.

I hope this helps.
