True blue screen (they are black in Windows 10) or a crash that comes with a Mozilla crash reporter dialog. If the latter what are the crash id's?

If it is the windows full on crash (black screen), try reinstalling Thunderbird from thunderbird.net
I have uninstalled Thunderbird three times. The re-installation goes on perfectly, Thunderbird opens for a millisecond and goes blue, The screen says go to www.windows.com stop/code and windows must restart, and it reboots. I have tried but no crash report.
and what is the stop code? Reinstalling is usually a complete waste of time in Thunderbird. It is cross platform so makes minimal use of the registry.
Sorry Matt but I have been away. When trying to get crash codes, is this what you mean about stop codes ?My crash codes are as follows: installtime on 02/24 20190218094837. Different numbers on different dates. Does this help ? The screen definitely goes blue after a split second of Thunderbird opening. the screen goes blue and says go towindows.com/stopcode and then reboots.
I have the same problem, started after using a new pc. The first days it works correct, then it's producing a blue Windows screen. A stopcode IRQL, less or equal is given. Now after re-install Thunderbird doesn.t start anymore!
If you are still crashing, please post a new topic with details https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/new/thunderbird/form
