Do I still have my Firefox-account after I uninstalled & then installed again, it doesn´t seem to work or exist anymore??

I can't login to my former firefox account after a 'break' (deleting the Firefoxbrowser from my computer), then installed it again a while later. I have to admit I'm not totally sure where in Firefox I created my former login, if there is more than one place in the Firefox-webbrowser you can create an account so to say.. ? Also now I have some form of an account, created for to put this question, the one I used before was more about making Firefox more personalised as I recall it.

I'm sorry for troubling/taking time, everyone. I found out that it was my mistake, I confused this account with my Add-ons account.

Hi there,

Admin here, I wanted to reach out to find out a little more information to make sure we have checked all the possible places for the Firefox profile data that you previously synced.

Firefox mirrors actively syncing devices/profiles. If you remove one device, then that device will stop syncing. However, if you remove the device, then uninstall Firefox, then that locally synced profile is not backed up. Also if you change your password, all of the previously synced profile information can no longer be accessed. (Firefox sync accounts are encrypted with the password)

Therefore, there are a couple of places that you can look for the profile information without the sync account:

  1. Are there any folders on the device's desktop called "Old Firefox Data"? Recovering important data from an old profile
  2. Check out starting Firefox with the Profile Manager if there is another profile after the reinstall - Profile Manager - Create, remove, or switch Firefox profiles
  3. Is there another device that was previously also syncing to the account you used? Is it possible that you deleted the account?
