For the last couple of weeks suddenly most graphics are not showing up on www.aol.ca either on the new pages of AOL or in my emails. I've just about tried everything I know of (I am not a technician) but nothing is bringing these graphics back. When I go on Internet Explorer i don't have this problem. You can see from the images attached that I just have white blank spaces where a picture should be. Can someone help me please? Thank you so much. Laurence.

Please update your Video Card Drivers Please. A Clean install would be best. Dear Pkshadow, Thank you so much for your response. I did what you suggested and I asked Windows to check on new NVIDIA driver updates online and Windows says I do have the latest video drivers installed for my Windows 7 operating system. Is there any other way I can get back my graphics in my AOL emails, etc.? Thank you again. Laurence.

I do not know why you asked Microsoft. They are not the maker of the Video Card nor do they Supply the Drivers. I gave you the information above and that there is some corruption in the drivers and that you need to update or re-install and they tell you you have the latest drivers. What a joke.

That does nothing to fix the corruption at all. It can not be ignored. It maybe the reason you are not getting the graphics you want on AOL. You fix Drivers and errors that are known before you work on something you do not know is broken yet or not. So please fix your driver issue.

Please read this re custom install: http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-3378608/nvidia-ftw-geforce-gtx-750-driver-issues-windows-update-issues.html

This is your card : NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti https://www.nvidia.com/gtx-700-graphics-cards/gtx-750ti/

This is a respectable site and I have downloaded drivers here myself. They are from the same month 2 days latter and are enhanced a little for gaming. Is same thing. https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/geforce-388-13-whql-driver-download.html You will notice in the Supported 700 Series your Card is Listed.

Please Download. Save them some place as may need again if corrupted. Uninstall your old Drivers and it will default to vga drivers or you can double click the drivers and it will find that you already have them and ask if you want to uninstall or .......... Myself I run AMD Cards on all my systems though do work on these occasionally for friends.

Just remember custom install and untick the GeoForce Experience.

Then will work on Firefox.

Or just go ahead and ignore everything above : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/refresh-firefox-reset-add-ons-and-settings

If images are missing then check that you do not block images from some domains.

  • you can tap the Alt key or press the F10 key to show the hidden Menu Bar temporarily

Check the permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab in "Tools -> Page Info -> Permissions".

Check "Tools -> Page Info -> Media" for blocked images

  • select the first image and use the cursor Down key to scroll through the list
  • if an image in the list is grayed and "Block Images from..." has a checkmark then remove this checkmark to unblock images from this domain

You can check these preferences on the about:config page and make sure they have the default value.

  • permissions.default.image (1)
  • network.http.sendRefererHeader (2)

There is Tracking Protection that can block (wanted) content, so check the location/address bar for special icons.

If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block (wanted) content (e.g. Adblock Plus, NoScript, Ghostery, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block (wanted) content.

  • make sure your extensions and filters are updated to the latest version

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
