I'm using the Dev edition and all of a sudden the reading list feature disappeared. It is still enabled in about:config. If this feature is going to be substituted by Pocket, there should be a way to migrate that content. Mine had about 100 postponed readings.

Best regards.

Hi

Further to my earlier response, one of the team has come back to me with a method you could go through (by downloading an older version of Firefox) to capture the the reading list.

You can read the walk through that they wrote here.

I hope this helps you to recover your data.

Hi

I have looked into this one, and spoken to a few people, and have been advised that the Reading List feature has been discontinued.

Firefox Developer edition is a pre-Release product so can feature some experimental features and this may have been one of them. You get the benefit of new features early, but they are in an unfinished state.

Thank you very much for the walk-through. That's great.

I'm aware of the concept of dev edition being a pre-release, but I was not expecting a great feature - I had it enabled through about:config on the stable version as well - to be dropped to favour a third-party approach. =/

Thanks again. :D
