I use some bookmarks like this example "https://www.google.co.uk/?gws_rd=ssl#q=example" on a pc but they don't work on S5 when synced.

Please try it yourself save this link as a bookmark on PC then have it synced on Galaxy S4 or S5 and try to open this bookmark on Phone.

Unfortunately not. I use this type of bookmarks to check how mi site is doing in google and they don't work on mobile for some reason. Same bookmark works on pc!
