upgraded to 39, now email stuck at blank page; reloaded FF. worked once,then same problem

I upgraded to FF 39. Soon after, when I log on my email, I get a blank page with "https://myacc...?x=(numbers)". I reloaded FF 39, I got to my email the first time I logged on. I logged out when finished. The next time I tried to get to my email again, the same problem happened. I can't keep reloading FF39. Never had that problem with the previous version I was using (33, I think. Of course, I can't roll back since you have taken that option away.

I'd like to send you an image of my email, but it is a blank page: I log on and go nowhere. I should add that I can get the email page on other browsers.

Please help.

this is not a reply, I just have to say that this process can be a catch 22: I tell FF folks that I can't get to my email and they want me to get on my email and verify my email, before my question can be posted.
