Every time I restart my MacBook Pro running OS X 10.10.3 Firefox spontaneously opens to the file:///Library/Application%20Support/Adobe/Help/en_US/Dreamweaver/9.0_Extending/help.html?content=dwr_floating_panels_fp_12.html URL.

I have no idea why.

It seems to run normally otherwise.

Is there some way I can stop this?

I am running Firefox 38.0.5.

Having more than one version of a program may cause issues. You must remove the older programs. Then get the current full installer.
