Hi, try this: Right click on the Desktop icon > Delete. Now open the Start Menu > All Programs, right click on Mozilla Firefox > Send to > Desktop (create shortcut). There should now be a Firefox icon on the Desktop.

Are you saying that you want an icon for each website that you save as a desktop shortcut?

If so, you need to change the icon thru Windows 7. Windows "owns" the desktop as far as website icons goes - with any 3rd party browser desktop shortcuts to websites get the browser icon.
