I cannot remove an extension "SoundFrost 3.6.2" this appeared as from Saturday 27th of December and it plays music automatically and every time i open Firefox, it is redirecting my browser to chat sites and porn sites. I did not download anything nor have i installed any new programs. I did try to remove this extension, but it would not allow me to uninstall this extension. Please Help! Thank You

Chosen solution

Hello Broscomms, check in your pc programs first, go from Start Menu > Control Panel > Uninstall a program > anything related to SoundFrost.

Scan with these free programs for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software, and please, scan with all programs because each one detect different malware:

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.

Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

thank you

Looks like a lot more than a simple "extension". http://www.pcthreat.com/parasitebyid-37701en.html
