Do I have to retype my entire Thunderbird Contact List from my XP computer to my Win7 computer? I can find info on migrating other data but not Contacts. Please and thank you.

Open the Address Book in Thunderbird

Export

  • Tools > Export
    • Popup to save your contact in the ".LDIF" format

Import

  • Tools > Import
    • Choose the file and import

LDIF is Thunderbird Format, if your going to import to outlook or any other, choose Comma seperated to save your contact
